Decidimos ir a ver dos templos hoy, el Ginkakuji (o Pabellón Plateado) y el Kinkakuji (o Pabellón dorado). Cogemos un bus desde la estación de autobuses que hay justo delante de la estación de trenes de Kyoto. Vamos primero al Ginkakuji, pero nos sorprende que muy plateado no es, pero aún así nos gusta, sobretodo sus jardines. Después de pasear por la zona decidimos comer algo y irnos al siguiente templo.
Este si que nos encanta a las dos, el templo dorado es realmente bonito, y los jardines que lo rodean son espectaculares, hay mucha gente hoy porque es sábado.
Después vamos caminando hasta el palacio Imperial de Kyoto, y nos encontramos a un grupo de niños disfrazados de Halloween.
Después de pasear por la zona hemos quedado con Kunio (un amigo japonés de Cristina) por la zona de Gion. Nos encontramos con Kunio y con un par de amigos más.
Les pedimos que nos lleven a cenar a una barra giratoria y vamos a un sitio muy chulo donde cada plato vale 135 Yenes, te sientas y solo tienes que esperar a que pasen los platos que quieres probar y cogerlos. Luego nos llevan a otro sitio pero todos los locales están llenos, hasta que por fin conseguimos entrar en uno.
La sorpresa es que es un restaurante donde hay que descalzarse para entrar. Nos sentamos en una mesa al estilo japonés y empezamos a pedir cerveza y tapas para ir probando diferentes cosas.
Después vamos a una discoteca llamada “El Coyote”, dentro hay algún que otro español que está pasando unos días de vacaciones y muchos japoneses que hablan español bastante bien. Ponen diferentes tipos de música y acaban poniendo “ a quien le importa” de Alaska y el “Aserejé”. Al cabo de un rato decido volver hasta mi hotel y ellos se quedan un rato más.
Ha sido divertido y una experiencia totalmente recomendable salir de fiesta con gente local.
October 16. Kyoto (II days). Gold and Silver, good combination.
This time, yeah!. When the exact site and see my travel companion for four days. His name is Cristina and is from Bilbao.
We decided to see two temples today, Ginkakuji (or Silver Pavilion) and Kinkakuji (or Golden Pavilion). We take a bus from the bus station is right opposite the train station in Kyoto. We go first to Ginkakuji, but very surprising that silver is not, but we still like it, especially the gardens. After strolling through the area we decided to eat something and go to the next temple.
That if we love them both, the Golden Temple is really nice, and the surrounding gardens are spectacular, there are many people today because it's Saturday.
After this we go to the Imperial palace and see many children with Halloween dresses.
After strolling through the area we stayed with Kunio (a Japanese friend of Cristina) nex the Gion area. We met with Kunio and a couple of friends.
We ask that lead us to dinner at a rotating rod and go to a really cool site where every dish is worth 135 yen, you sit down and just have to wait to pass the items you want to try and catch them. Then take us to another restaurant but all are full, until it finally got into one.
The surprise is that it is a restaurant where you have to remove their shoes to enter. We sat in a Japanese-style table and started asking for beer and snacks to keep trying different things.
After going to a disco called "El Coyote" there are spanish boys that is happening a few days holiday and many Japanese who speak Spanish fairly well. They are different types of music and end up putting "who cares" of Alaska and the "Asereje". After a while I decide to go back to my hotel and they stay a little longer.
It's been fun and a highly recommendable experience to party with locals.
